a purely electric vehicle still wouldn't go that far. It? would take a hybrid to reach 300mi range.

99% of the? cars were taken - many with the leaseholders blocking the path of the transporters - to the desert where they crushed and converted to landfill. It's shocking. See "Who Killed the Electric Car" - excellent documentary
