"Put who in what? position?" *face palm* Who? The "large number of people struggling to survive". Was it really that hard to look down about? an inch and see who "them" referred to? What position? "struggling to survive" ditto.

1. Just saying. 2a. . . . 2b. It makes no sense to procreate. Put who in what position? 3. How about? now?
By: jeffiek. on 13 Feb 12, 20:58:42
1) I never said it was 2a) in other news, water is wet 2b) it makes no? sense to PUT THEM IN THAT POSITION in the first place 3) no

1. That isn't what was asserted. 2. Whether capitalist? or communist, any system that involves a large number of people struggling to survive, violence may ensue. Have you ever read War Is A Racket?
By: jeffiek. on 13 Feb 12, 19:19:44
"I await your source that has Marx advocating mass murder or violence." It is not necessary for him to advocate either. It is only necessary to advocate a? system which will result in either.

"Links are not sources..." Funny, the MLA handbook seems to think they can be. "I await your source? that has Marx advocating mass murder or? violence." I'm not going to sift through Das Kapital for your convenience. If you wish to believe Marx didn't condone violent revolutions against the Capitalists then so be it.
By: DeterministicOne. on 13 Feb 12, 18:22:38
What would lead you to think a determinist wouldn't accept a valid source? Links are not sources. The Communist Manifesto is a source, quotepages is not.? I await your source that has Marx advocating mass murder or violence.
By: Xtro2005. on 13 Feb 12, 18:22:10
I happened to notice a video imbedded in the infowars link I think you're referencing and was bothered by seems to be a? rather stark non sequitur. Watch the video for yourself here /watch?feature=player_embeddedv=aVHkbhqxj7Q#! . I don't think Gates is suggesting what the anchor is stating he meant.

search "gates foundation vaccine sterilizes women in africa" - tons of articles. AJ is on the bottom of first page, about 20 articles below. Go to page 2, see videos of gates talking about curbing population in africa, straight out of the man's mouth. Add 2+2... but hey, some people will always add up? to 5... not trying to convince EVERYONE, just those capable of critical thinking
By: Xtro2005. on 13 Feb 12, 17:36:44
From where does this accusation stem? Alex? Jones?
By: gerasimimumu7. on 13 Feb 12, 17:34:15
yea.... i especially love his aids vaccine that sterilized 5 million women in africa. That guy is totally on the side of the common? people

"No, you didn't. Your source quoted Lenin advocating violence. Lenin? and Marx are different people." So we're beyond the aspect of the quote being rumored to have been spoken by Lenin and have? moved on to a definite?
By: Xtro2005. on 13 Feb 12, 17:25:25
As a self professed determinist I question at this point what validity would providing more than the two links I've provided would have. You'll deny that violent revolution against the Capitalist is a endorsement of wholesale mass murder and? we'll be right back where we started. On a side not such denial is rather revealing.
By: Xtro2005. on 13 Feb 12, 17:19:46
"Mass murder vs.? violent revolution is splitting hairs?" Seeing as how you think this? supposed dichotomy was what I was referring to when I stated "splitting hairs" then I feel obliged to bid you adieu.
By: Xtro2005. on 13 Feb 12, 17:15:38
"Well,? shit, I wish I could say? there's nothing to debate since you are an incompatibilist. But, alas, apparently only the incompatibilist is allowed to do that." This apparent realization didn't stop you from telling Moondoggie to go away though did it? Nothing is stopping you from repeating the same now.
By: DeterministicOne. on 13 Feb 12, 17:13:55
No, you didn't. Your? source quoted Lenin advocating violence. Lenin and Marx are different people.
By: Xtro2005. on 13 Feb 12, 17:12:17
"Mass murder vs. violent revolution is splitting hairs? Again, can you give? me a source where Marx advocates violence?" Already did. You've ignored it.
By: DeterministicOne. on 13 Feb 12, 17:12:14
You are not interested or you realize you can't answer the question without admitting I am? right? The religious aren't interested in debating their beliefs quite often. Maybe it's best if you go away.
By: DeterministicOne. on 13 Feb 12, 17:06:58
Well, shit, I wish I could say there's nothing to debate since you are an incompatibilist. But, alas, apparently only the incompatibilist is allowed to do that. Mass murder vs. violent revolution is splitting hairs? Again, can you? give me a source where Marx advocates violence?
By: Xtro2005. on 13 Feb 12, 16:59:34
"Really? You chose your DNA and who raised you?" I'm not interested in being sucked into a fruitless? debate of determinism. In the US murder (intentional) is defined in part as "a killing that resulted from the intent to do serious bodily injury". legal-dictionary .thefreedictionary. com/murder I think I can concur with this statement and say this aptly applies to those killed as intended through violent revolution.
By: Xtro2005. on 13 Feb 12, 16:54:12
"...but it has never been shown to be accurate. At this point I could justifiably dismiss you, but, I'll give you another chance." As I stated before there's little for us to debate given you're a determinist. Regardless of the accuracy of the quote the support? of violent revolution by Marx is rather apparent. So this is just so much splitting hairs.
