Its called development for a reason, we? make the earth better to live on. Besides, most of the world is untouched. The extra CO2 we produce goes to plants, and more plants are grown. Just because you live in the city and see roads and cars everywhere does not mean anything. Go to the rural areas. I lived in a village in Russia, I can walk for miles and see open fields and think wood. less the 1% of the world is used by cities, stop listening to the lies.

Oh and go say it is a lie that humans are encroaching on territory previously known to inhabited only by animals. What I've heard is that bears have no where to survive because we invade their lands because our population humans is increasing faster than any other known species. I have family in northern Russia, they say the polar bear population is rising so fast they are entering Russian towns...that does not really? fit with your story of polar bears dying off. Ice is not melting it was growing in the past 3 years, and a resent gantdaily article says temp will rise only 3 degrees by 2050. Those figures are not scary at all. So stop hiding under the bed because Al Gore scared you, and go enjoy the sun. We will not all die, you are say.

Yes ice melts? in summer. Polar caps are breaking apart from melting and that will cause oceans to rise which in turn causes other problems such as tsunamis. Many animals are dying out because there is not enough ice for them to live on any longer.

? Sea levels rising? No, falling. Globe warming? No, cooling. Are any IPCC models/projections correct? No. Reduction of rain forests due to AGW? No. Polar bears disappearing? No, Populations are increasing. Greenland and Antarctica ice is melting? Nope, net? ice mass is increasing; so are ice flows. Hurricanes increasing? No, they are at an all-time low. And so on it goes. ALL dire predictions made by alarmists are NONSENSE.

The solution to global warming according to Al Gore and his pals, is to force? corporation to buy carbon credits that Al Gore and his pals are selling and introducing laws and taxes that we (the people) have to pay for, thats their solution, thats economic slavery and government enslavement. it makes sense...all these taxes imposed and all these emissions regulations inserted in to the tax system, yet,? pollution is still at a disgusting high...a lot of money is being tossed around by a few but nothing in the environment is benefiting....it appears that this theory might very well be correct: more taxes, more regulations, more control.

And btw: there's a difference between "global warming" and "cap and trade".
