Go is the next C language because it was created by the inventors of Unix and C..? so I thought maybe you'd want to try the "next" version of C...

Are you advertising a product? I stay with what I need for my projects. At time? being, C++ is perfectly efficient in every way.
By: canufi. on 21 Apr 12, 21:52:50
Why stay with C++ for new projects? why? not try something with garbage collection like Go from Google?
By: MrVirtualCoder. on 21 Apr 12, 21:50:56
I agree, Java is bad.? Of course, I'd stay with C++, unless other languages are required for my development.
By: canufi. on 21 Apr 12, 18:34:45
Java? NO THANKS. I find Java hideous and ugly. So you haven't done any Go Language research have you? Watch the Go Language video by Google. It's got garbage? collection and replaces the hideous C programming language.

There's reason not to implement it. PHP is managed code (actually, it's scripting), thus you are bound to make this code subject to an interpreter (a module which interprets the managed code. C++ is un-managed, and that is why it's? so popular. If garbage collection was added then C++ code would be a lot slower, and a LOT more memory inefficient. If you wish to have C++ code, but with garbage collection and system-based APIs, then I suggest you go with Java.

They as in the committee in charge of C++, if there is one. If there isn't more than one person in charge of C++ future, then what happens if Bjarne dies? he's old. The problem is that almost all convenient languages these days have garbage collection so C++ could? die out because of being too low level. Why would I use C++ for a web application if PHP has garbage collection available? Why would I use C++ if GoLanguage by Google has garbage collection? C++ is good for maintaining OLD projects.

They? Not sure who they are, but as for your question I would say no. To my understanding only managed languages have garbage collection (the .NET or Java kind), and thus? C++ does not have it.
By: canufi. on 20 Apr 12, 23:31:11
did they? add garbage collection to C++ yet?

Progress is progress, whether it takes? a million years or not.
By: TopShelfization. on 20 Apr 12, 10:05:08
there IS such an underestimated view on external/alternate methods? huh?
By: TopShelfization. on 20 Apr 12, 09:51:34
c++0x whatever it's called could be the future maybe? another language could come out? or we just go back to c++ time and time again, because it gets the job done, it's? good enough for me and bmw apparently, c++ is "stable", that's safe enough, it will do me. nothing is stopping me from learning said GoLanguage anywho :)

who gives a fuck about global warming when oil is going to run out anyway? whether there is global warming or not doesn't matter - what? matters is that oil is running out some time in the future. Even if global warming didn't exist, oil will still run out regardless. Global warming is a diversion - it's a red herring. It's not even IMPORTANT. The fact that oil runs out, IS VERY IMPORTANT.
By: canufi. on 19 Apr 12, 23:01:49
he's continuously expanding the language? is C++ really evolving that much lately? I don't? see much progress.
By: canufi. on 19 Apr 12, 23:00:32
if you think C++ is king, there is something mentally wrong with you. The future is? safe languages like GoLanguage by google which is a partial ripoff of Oberon
By: canufi. on 19 Apr 12, 22:59:27
it's great to know that? our vehicles driving on the road are programmed in unsafe languages that can have serious pointer errors
By: canufi. on 19 Apr 12, 22:56:25
the ugliness of C++ is related directly to the ugliness of Stroustrup's head.?
By: pufixas. on 19 Apr 12, 04:19:19
I would probably create? class for engine, controlls, and everything else...
By: nopleaseno0. on 17 Apr 12, 21:10:22
that's? unlikely because C# can't possibly be used for real time applications
By: Pr3fixProducts. on 17 Apr 12, 18:27:09
Shit, indeed is holy?
By: TopShelfization. on 17 Apr 12, 02:47:40
fuck yeah, c++ is the king. I had no clue it was used? in so many areas of awesome-ness-ness-s!
By: S3b1Videos. on 15 Apr 12, 16:45:22
What, Figher Planes are also programmed in C++, ok, then I would make something like: setTargtetPos(getPos(localhost)); //if these instructions exist Then? have fun with the rocket which follows you ;)
By: S3b1Videos. on 15 Apr 12, 16:42:21
BMWs are programmed in C++? Awesome ^^?
