A barrel floating in the ocean will grow a seaweed farm. It would be easy to create rainforest sized algae farms mid ocean. The seaweed farms would photosynthesize, as well as the lifeforms themselves would be made of carbon. Cheap. Proactive. Harmless. Also mid ocean seaweed (algae) farms could be towed to countries in need for emergency food fuel. No downside. Build seaweed farms from shore and tow them out to sea and anchor them. Polluting companies could sponsor the low costs. Win? Win Win

WTF BRO 1. Carbon Dioxide is a PRODUCT of temperature change, not a cause. 2. The warmer it gets, the more polar bears there are. 3. The temperature on earth is primarily dictated by the sun. We are currently entering a cooling period. 4. C02, the main concern? in this debate, is a primary fuel for life. The more C02, the more plants that can grow and thrive. 5. The answer is 'Nothing'. The sheer scale of the problem means that everything in this video is more or less pointless. We burn 85 million barrels of oil per day, nearly the same in coal and natural gas, these figures are all set to rise considerably in the coming years. I've implemented all these things. The green lifestyle is actually fun: riding my bike, and eating 4 fruit-meals a day. What's good for the environment is also good for our health, which in turn makes you feel good. And farmers market food tastes better! And sleep is better when electronics? are unplugged.

Actually, being a scientist myself, I have to completely disagree with you. Although, like many things, we can not be 100% certain, it is far beyond? reasonable doubt that fossil fuel usage is the overwhelming cause. Remember, some scientists also said that the world was flat, that the sun revolves around us and such outright denials will be seen in the same light.
