Sure this will work for a while, a day, a week i dont know... But eventually it? will stop from friction. Even if the bearings were a million dollars a piece, eventually they will cause friction and will slow the machine down, and eventually stop

If it works it? will probably go on for a few seconds maybe even minutres but later on it will slow down and that energy going in will drop due to resistance, friction. Then the generator will slowly stop generating electricity. Even if it can run itself it won't have enough power to supply other sources :) If you're giving it 1000J and it making 1000J(I doubt) it will fall from 1000900800700 on and one then stops and that 1000J is only for the system.

im an electrician and i thuroughly understand what u did. incredible.? yes it only has enough power to run it self and a 100 extra watts, but in principle it works. if you were a skilled machinist and streamlined the water wheel idea into something more efficient (I.E. turbo prop) then you could potentially run a vehicle or power generation plant. laws of physics are not set in stone as we are led to believe.they can be bent.

Anyone notice two key things. First, the bulb intensity never changes though the wheel? misalignment nearly caused to stop. But more importantly, "stopping" the machine would be as easy as putting some drag on the wheel to slow it down. By his own definition, it would stop. Third, there WAS someone in the background - how convenient because finally, when he unplugs it, even as its slowing down, the light stays nice and bright until his assistant screws up the timing and unplugs the bulb!
