I keep coming back to this video. Best work you've ever done, and most beautiful house I've ever seen of any size. The narration really? catches the mood of the place. Peaceful. Simple. Honest. Refined.? And that woman perfectly matches her home. Some people are always going to misunderstand this sort of thing, and that's alright. To each his own.

I can't help myself she sounds like she woke up one day? and felt guilty she drove a jag, threw cig butts out the window, and wiped her ass with fast food wrappers and put mayonnaise on her twinkies after she microwaved them of course.

Only highly introverted people will understand this - the extroverted cannot. We are each? made differently, and as we have different fingerprints, we each desire different things in life. What a truly inspiring couple and home. Thank you.

Why? would they NEED a work bench, sewing machine, canning area? This is California? where fresh organic healthy food is available year round. And they have everything they NEED, which is key. We live a simple zen lifestyle like the Zero Waster Home and the Innermost House.

The Lorences don't do self-sufficiency;? their interest is in Conversation, and their lives are focused around that. They buy their food from the local farmers' market, and do their laundry at a wash-and-fold place. They don't can and preserve, or do other homesteading stuff. There is an Innermost House Facebook page that answers many questions about the Lorence lifestyle, as well as offering ongoing Conversation.

I've lived in? the country. You have to love bugs and critters. Not my kind of life. Idealistic and good for some, but this city boy prefers the city.

She? and her husband must be very happy there but, a place like this is so small that I can't see how they can truly take care of them selves and the place to. Where is room for a sewing machine and a work bench? Is there an out door kitchen for canning and preserving? Living this way seems wonderful but, how do you take care of the little daily things that still need doing?

From reading this, I would assume they are both blood type A. One can't age well on just vegetables fruit unless they are blood type A. I have a friend, engineer, who refits, RVs with solar, so they live 100% just off solar, off the grid, on the Arizona desert. Burning? wood is not environmentaly sound. Dr. Paul Kangas, 415-368-8581,
