Very interesting and useful video?

@phukmephukyu 1. if it has more protons in its nucleus, which gives it a higher nuclear charge. 2. the distance of the 'bonding-pair' of electrons from the nucleus. 3.? Shielding( If you don't know what that is then search it) gives a higher effective nuclear charge across a period. Soz if it didn't help :P

Wow thanks a lot! ....chemistry book talks more gibberish that hard to understand, we are? just simple people with simple explanation and we are not geniuses to understand scientific talks.. just translate it to English so we can understand it already.

Wow, thanks a lot, I ve spent 12 hours learning about electronegativity and chemical bonds from a chemistry book but I? didn't understand anything, but after watching your 1min and 25 sec video, everything became clear. Thanks dude, it really helped me.

I can't find your? electronegativity videos, please direct me to them!
By: 1091Floyd21. on 26 Apr 10, 18:12:52
If electronegativity is the attraction for a shared pair of electrons in a covalent bond, then how come it is said that if the E.N. difference is greater than 1.7 the compound is ionic??? This does not make sense because how can there be a shared pair of? electrons between a ionic bond.

Guys I do not mean to be arrogant but my electronegativity video is about 470280284 times better and more helpful than this one... please check it? out. i have about 20 mins worth of video on electronegativity up at the moment. @ moni Oxygen = 3.5 Hydrogen = 2.1 ... therefore 1.4 ..
