so true. Single payer when polled as individual items did fantastic at almost 80% or better. But when big insurance does a smear campaign against any government program, it gets stupid people to believe factually incorrect things that aren't true. What does that have to do with Fascism? They couldn't pass it because not all democrats wanted it because they knew those issues would lose them votes. Independents, like myself, didn't want all of those bills passed. Florida has been dominated by Republicans for a long time? and they probably won't lose control for a long time. That makes them not care. When the government (Rep or Dem) feels secure, they do what they want, not what the people want.
