Production Of Environment-Friendly Fuel With Biodiesel Processors
The productions methods may be by the batch or supercritical process, or by employing the ultra-and high-shear in-line and batch reactors or by applying the ultrasonic or microwave method. To do this alcoholysis or transferification biodiesel processors must be expertly engineered to derive the desired products. Processors are of many types depending on the kind of biofuel that must be extracted and the areas where these machineries are situated for the breakdown of the elements required for the processing.
The whole process must be tightly closed to prevent the loss of alcohol which is a volatile substance. The batch process entails a careful preparation in order to monitor the amount of water and free fatty acids in the incoming oil or fat. If ever the free fatty acid or water level is too high soap formation may result causing the separation of glycerin by-product downstream. A catalyst is then dissolved in the alcohol with the use of a standard mixer or agitator. The alcohol or the catalyst mix will be charged into a closed reaction container for addition of the vegetable oil or animal fat.
Producing biofuel through the supercritical process involves an alternative and catalyst-free system for methanol at high temperatures ands pressures which must be done in a continuous process. In this method, the methanol and oil are subjected to a single phase where reaction occurs spontaneously and rapidly. In this process methyl esters are produced with less energy production cost compared to the catalystic process.
The need for more bio-friendly fuels must be immensely considered for the benefit of whole mankind. It is truly necessary to build as many types of plants and factories that are into processing of biofuel. There are many methods to produce the desired environmental-friendly fuel. This procedure can really help in the preservation of the environment against further degradation with the use of these biodiesel processors.
