Scientists are acutely aware of which way the wind is blowing and orientate themselves in the best way to ensure future funding. AGW has become such an unopposable juggernaut that all scientists "agree" with it in the same way that all German scientists "agreed" with Nazi science in? the thirties. To oppose it would be career suicide. The old adage "follow the money" sums it all up nicely.

All cloud is seeded by cosmic rays and clouds are the screens of the? greenhouse reflecting solar radiation away. The amount of cosmic rays reaching the atmosphere is altered by the amount of solar wind sent out by sunspot activity. That is what modulates global temperatures.

Gore isn't a credible commentator on GW. He has no scientific qualifications. Does? that sound familiar, Monckton ('scientific adviser to Thatcher', LOL)?

Yes 550 mya, the CO2 levels were 20x our pre-industrial CO2 baselines and positive feedback did NOT happen w/ CO2 and temp... Their reply? is to claim the sun was cooler. My counter response is 'Oh?, Was the sun 20x cooler'?

Al Bore is a complete joke. If his lips move it means he's lying (if they don't move then he's thinking what lie to say next). The changing climate has nothing to do with man's emissions, even the global temperature record compared to the CO2 record don't correlate, disproving the hypothesis. Even if they did correlate, that doesn't? prove or even demonstrate causation. They could have a common 3rd driver, or be totally coincidental. Funny how quiet Al has been recently!

O2 was higher in the past "The killer proof that CO2 does not drive climate is to be found during? the Ordovician- Silurian and the Jurassic-Cretaceous periods when CO2 levels were greater than 4000 ppmv (parts per million by volume) and about 2000 ppmv respectively. If the IPCC theory is correct there should have been runaway greenhouse induced global warming during these periods but instead there was glaciation."

I saw a great analogy on this. 1 million rice grains = ppm air. 385 grains {ppm} = How much carbon there is currently in the air. 15 of those {ppm}? = From human activity = only (4%) [cars, energy, manufacturing etc] 1.8 grains {ppm}= Methane 0.31 grains {ppm} = Nitrous Oxide So out of 1 million ppm Man is responsible for a staggering15 ppm! Don't get me wrong pollution has alot of negative consequences, even more the more pollution their? is, but climate change is not one of them.
By: YaHuWaHservant. on 30 Dec 11, 14:06:05
As I understand it the debate is not whether their is climate change. The debate is to the why. The big names and money wanting people say it is man made. They want? us to do carbon caps and such; which will do nothing for carbon being produced merely allow government/businesses to profit from pollution. The other part of the spectrum are scientists saying it is not man made and that it is a natural occurrence that planets go through. I am on the latter personally.

fraud that it is. wise decision, and in most cases the? best bet and most reasonable choice possible. However he said rightly, it's always healthy to have skeptics and challenges to prevailing orthodoxy of the day, in whatever day that may be. On this one Galloway just happens to be dealing with a subject only recently (In comparison to most other hard sciences) become popular, highly politicized from the beginning, and a science that simply can not look to observed data over any reasonable period of time even

Hearing GG say this is quite reassuring. I'd rather not have a bloody waffler, willing to turn over anytime anyone comes along with a new theory. When one does not have the ability, as he admitted, to be s climate scientist himself and pore over all the "YouTube data", and many websites that must be out there about this, and one simply ? has to choose a standard. Whatever they consider to be the best of the best institutions for furnishing that type of information to the public is undoubtedly a

I don't need science to tell me the climate is changing and the globe is warming. I've been alive for 40 years. I remember when 100 degrees was unthinkable, when dogwoods wouldn't winter? this far north, and when my area was not the proper climate for black widows and brown recluse. That has all changed in the last 15years and when I go outside to smake a cigarette at 10pm Nov.19th I'll be wearing a T-Shirt. People believe what they want inspite of evidence not because of it.

At 4:24, the aptly named Mr. Morano is just pulling junk out? of a hat. You simply can't reach these deniers. By MorONo's criteria, a Jiffy Lube oil-changer should be trusted more than a senior automotive engineer on subtle questions of engine overheating. I could give many other analogies where lightweights and posers haven't earned the credentials to claim special knowledge of a given topic. Most people on the planet literally aren't smart enough to be scientists. Sorry, but that's true.

@unclephil440, why do ignorant people always think they can state an entire case in a single sentence? If I stated that the Moon landing was a hoax, would I not need to? provide solid evidence for that claim? Never mind. Casting pearls to swine is wasted effort.
