Evidently, the Kyoto protocol didnt change anything, so when it expires, in 2012, a new agreement needs to be made, that all countries, developed and developing, can participate in. However, there should be consequences if the goals are not met, because with Kyoto, I guess our suffering planet wasnt enough motivation. That's? just sad.

Having children is the worst thing for the environment. Each child (and their children, and their? children's children) will each produce more waste, both solid and gaseous than you can prevent by being green in your entire lifetime. By choosing to have at least 1 less child than you otherwise would, or not having children at all (really, this would save you a lot more money than changing lightbulbs), Reduce the global energy demand and you're solving over population as well. 2 birds, 1 stone.
